Community Relations Campaign Event Tour
Target donated $5 million to schools across the country as part of the “Give With Target” initiative in 2012. Each week in August, four in-need schools received a surprise visit from Disney channel star Bridgit Mendler via the “Bullseye Bus.” Each school event received a $25,000 grant, $20,000 worth of school supplies and a fun day of activities. “Bullseye Bus” traveled over 9,200 miles across the country. Over 125 Target team members volunteered. 3.2 million people voted for schools via Give With Target Facebook app, which at the time was the highest engagement of any social media campaign in Facebook history.
